Our History
CHEP College of Nursing Sciences (CHEPCONS), located at 18 Agbebi Estate, off Idiroko Road, Ota, Ogun State, was established as a response to the growing demand for qualified nursing professionals in Nigeria’s healthcare sector. The college originated from CHEP Geriatric Human Resource Development Limited (CGHRDL), a training center founded in 2019 to address the critical shortage of skilled nursing personnel, particularly in geriatric care.
The establishment of CGHRDL was inspired by the experiences of its parent organization, the Centre for Happy Elderly People (CHEP) — a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2006 with the primary objective of providing quality care for the elderly in society.   Â
Vision & Values
To provide courses of instruction leading to the award of Diploma, National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, Degree, Certificate, and other distinctions in Nursing Sciences.
To provide special professional training and retraining in courses in Nursing Sciences and all related subjects, whether leading to college distinction or not, for such persons as may be prescribed.
To conduct research with particular reference to the development of techniques for enhancing the quality of Nursing Sciences in the state.
To arrange conferences, seminars/workshops, tours, and similar activities related to nursing science delivery in Nigeria in general.
To do all such other things as may be considered incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives or any of them.
